One person was injured and hospitalized following a crash between a Chevrolet Camaro and a semi-truck in Fresno on Monday, May 12, 2025.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash occurred at the intersection of Jensen and Cedar avenues when the driver of a blue Chevrolet Camaro struck a semi-truck crossing the road. Investigators say the driver mistakenly believed he had the right of way.
Although initially described as a non-injury crash, the driver of the Camaro was transported to a hospital after complaining of back pain.
Police later determined that the driver was at fault and confirmed that he would be arrested on suspicion of transportation of narcotics for sale and leaving the scene of an accident.
The driver’s identity has not yet been released. The incident remains under investigation.
