[11-03-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Two Rescued in Vehicle Crash Down Embankment Near Marsh Rd.

Two occupants were rescued after their vehicle went down a 100-foot dirt embankment near Marsh and Arroyo Hondo roads in Santa Clara County, on Tuesday afternoon, November 3, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s San Jose area office, the crash occurred around 1:15 p.m.

CHP officers and neighboring fire crews responded and found both occupants trapped inside the wreckage down the hillside.

Emergency personnel freed both occupants from the vehicle. Their conditions were not disclosed.

Information about what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway was not immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
