Two young men were killed following a suspected DUI crash in Fresno on Friday night, May 2, 2025.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision occurred shortly after 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Shields and Clovis avenues.
Authorities said 29-year-old Jagat S. crashed into another vehicle carrying two men. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was transported to a hospital and later died early Saturday morning.
On Sunday, family members identified the victims as 18-year-old Maddux G. and 19-year-old Jordan G.
Police reported that the driver, who has a prior DUI conviction, showed signs of intoxication. He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple charges, including DUI and murder.
The crash remains under investigation.
