A driver of a white convertible sustained minor injuries following a crash that left their vehicle trapped underneath a sedan near Fresno’s airport on Friday afternoon, April 4, 2025.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the area of Clovis Avenue and McKinley Avenue.
Officers reported that the convertible was traveling southbound on Clovis Avenue at approximately 25 mph when the driver attempted to brake but mistakenly pressed the gas pedal.
The impact of the crash forced the convertible underneath a gray sedan and pushed the sedan into another vehicle ahead.
No other injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
