Two people sustained minor injuries after a pickup truck crashed into a vehicle waiting at a stop sign in Fresno County on Sunday evening, March 9, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash around 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 145 and Ashlan Avenue, just north of Kerman.
A blue pickup truck was traveling northbound on Highway 145, approaching a white vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign, waiting for southbound traffic to clear before making a left turn onto Ashlan Avenue.
For reasons yet to be determined, the pickup truck veered onto the right dirt shoulder and crashed into the driver’s side of the white truck stopped at the intersection.
Emergency responders transported two individuals to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
