One person was killed following a violent crash involving two overturned semi-trucks on the eastbound 60 Freeway near the 57 Freeway interchange in Diamond Bar, on Thursday morning, February 20, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m. near the connector road from the eastbound 60 to the northbound 57 Freeway.

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead. It is unclear if the deceased individual was a driver of one of the big rigs involved.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. No further details were immediately available.
