[09-30-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – E-Bike Rider Killed After Being Struck by Sedan in Highland Park

A man riding an e-bike was killed after being struck by a sedan in Highland Park, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night, September 30, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at around 11:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Figueroa Street.

Police said a gray sedan was traveling northbound when it struck the e-bike rider, who was traveling in the same direction. The impact ejected the man from the bicycle, causing him to strike the roadway.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel transported the bicyclist to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The sedan driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
