A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision in the North Highlands area of Sacramento County on Thursday morning, February 13, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 7:00 a.m. to the 3900 block of Roseville Road near Longview Drive.
Upon arrival, they found a man who had been hit and killed by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Authorities shut down Roseville Road before Longview Drive and Tri Stations Road as they investigated the incident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
Sacramento police are actively investigating the collision and searching for the driver involved.
