A 23-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a collision with an SUV in Cathedral City on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
According to the Cathedral City Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Ramon Road and Avenida Los Ninos at approximately 5:30 p.m. The crash involved a Honda SUV and a motorcycle traveling westbound on Ramon Road.
The motorcyclist, identified as Desert Hot Springs resident Marco T., sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities reported that the SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
No injuries were reported to the motorist, and drugs or alcohol were not considered factors in the crash.
The intersection was closed for approximately two hours as police investigated the incident.
