A man was killed, and another was critically injured following a shooting at a Walmart parking lot in Hanford on Thursday night, February 6, 2025.
According to the Hanford Police Department, officers received a call about gunfire at the parking lot around 8:14 p.m.
Upon arrival, authorities found one man deceased at the scene, while another man suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The suspect was seen fleeing the scene on foot, but no further details about their identity have been released. The identity of the deceased victim has also not been disclosed pending family notification.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident.
