[01-29-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash West Of Koreatown

A male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision Wednesday night, January 29, 2025, west of Koreatown in Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 9:02 p.m. at 1548 S. Gramercy Place, north of Venice Boulevard.

Witnesses reported that a vehicle traveling east on Venice made a left turn and struck the male pedestrian before fleeing the scene without stopping.

Emergency responders transported the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities have not provided a description of the suspect vehicle. The LAPD is investigating and urges anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
