Multiple injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash in San Ramon on Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2024.
According to the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, the traffic incident occurred around Bollinger Canyon Road and San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
Initial reports indicate that at least two vehicles were involved in the collision. Pictures taken by the responding fire officials showed the two vehicles with substantial damage around the area, one of which was overturned.
Two other cars without occupants were also shown beside the wreckage, but the authorities have not yet confirmed whether they were involved in the accident.
Multiple people were sent to hospitals after suffering injuries of unknown severity, stated the authorities. The total number of injured people, their current condition, and their participation in the accident were not disclosed.
No further information was immediately available. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the traffic collision.
