[03-30-2024] San Bernardino County, CA – Two Children Killed, One Person Hospitalized Following Two-Vehicle Collision on I-15 Near Baker

Two children were killed, and one person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on I-15, San Bernardino County, on Saturday afternoon, March 30, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 1:45 p.m. on I-15 near the Halloran Springs Road off-ramp. 

Authorities stated that a black Mercedes-Benz SUV veered from the southbound into the northbound side and collided head-on with another SUV. Two young children were pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police said the mother of the children, identified only as a 40-year-old woman, was possibly paralyzed due to the collision. She was in grave condition and transported to Barstow Community Hospital for treatment. 

Further details about the collision have yet to be released by the authorities. The investigation continues.
