A crash involving two big rigs was reported in Yuba City on Wednesday morning, August 20, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:09 a.m. on Highway 99 at Lincoln Road.
Officials said two semi-trucks were involved in the crash, which blocked the roadway and prompted lane closures. CHP Yuba-Sutter reported that the northbound No. 2 lane of Highway 99 was shut down from Smith Road to Lincoln Road for an extended period.
Authorities said possible minor injuries were reported, though details on the number of people hurt have not yet been confirmed.
