[08-27-2026] Fresno County, CA – Five Injured in Minivan and Cattle Truck Crash on Fowler and Elkhorn Ave.

Five people sustained injuries after a minivan collided with a cattle truck in Fresno County on Thursday morning, August 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. at the intersection of Fowler and Elkhorn avenues.

CHP investigators said the minivan driver rolled through a stop sign and collided with the cattle truck.

Six people were traveling in the minivan. Five were transported to a local hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The driver of the cattle truck was not injured in the collision.

The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
