[07-27-2026] Fresno County, CA – Three Injured in DUI Crash at Brawley and Manning Ave.

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Fresno County on Monday night, July 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the incident at around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Brawley and Manning avenues. 

Investigators said a blue Jeep Cherokee driven by a 40-year-old Kingsburg man was traveling south on Brawley Avenue when it allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the side of a black Ford Fusion traveling east on Manning Avenue.

Authorities said three adults from Caruthers were inside the Ford Fusion. Two passengers sustained major injuries and were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, including one person who suffered a broken leg. The driver of the Fusion sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the Jeep Cherokee also suffered minor injuries. During the investigation, CHP determined the 40-year-old driver was allegedly under the influence and arrested him on felony DUI charges.
