[03-20-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Big Rig and RV Collide on Westbound Foothill Freeway in Irwindale

A big rig and an RV collided on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Irwindale on Friday morning, March 20, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were called to the scene at 4:41 a.m. on the westbound freeway and the Irwindale Avenue South off-ramp.

The RV crashed through the freeway guardrail and landed in an embankment. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics treated one person at the scene for minor injuries.

The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of two lanes of the westbound freeway and the Irwindale Avenue off-ramp for two hours.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
