[03-04-2026] San Diego County, CA – Semi Truck Flips on Southbound I-15, Causing Traffic Congestion

A semi truck flipped on the southbound side of Interstate 15 in San Diego, causing heavy traffic and congestion near the I-8 intersection on Wednesday afternoon, March 4, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in Mission Valley, where four lanes of the highway are closed as crews clean up spilled fuel. Only the far left lane remains open.
