[02-24-2026] Orange County, CA – Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Tesla in Garden Grove

A pedestrian was injured when they were struck by a Tesla while merging onto the 22 Freeway off-ramp near Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove on Tuesday morning, February 24, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 8:23 a.m., with officers arriving to find a white Tesla, the driver, and the injured pedestrian at the scene. 

The status of the injured person was not immediately known.

The crash caused heavy congestion near the freeway off-ramp, and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
