[02-18-2026] Kern County, CA – Northbound I-5 Reopens After Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Frazier Mountain Park Road

Northbound Interstate 5 reopened after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi truck in Kern County on Wednesday morning, February 18, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported just before 6:00 a.m. near Frazier Mountain Park Road.

Authorities said the semi truck was found in an embankment nearby.

A helicopter was seen in the area of the crash just before 6:15 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
