[02-04-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Motorcyclist Critically Injured After Crash With Box Truck in North Hollywood

A motorcycle rider was critically injured after a crash involving a box truck in North Hollywood on Wednesday morning, February 4, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported at about 10:50 a.m. in the 6400 block of Lankershim Boulevard, north of Victory Boulevard. Fire crews arrived to find the motorcyclist trapped beneath the box truck.

Firefighters worked to free the rider, who was believed to be approximately 45 years old, according to department spokesperson Lyndsey Lantz.

The man was transported to a trauma center in critical condition. Authorities did not immediately release his identity.
