[01-30-2026] Fresno County, CA – Man Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash on Bullard Ave. Near West Ave.

A man was hospitalized with major injuries following a hit-and-run crash in Fresno County on Friday night, January 30, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m. on Bullard Avenue near West Avenue, in front of the north Central Fresno fire station. 

Investigators said the man was crossing Bullard Avenue when he was struck by a white 2016 Honda Accord. The victim sustained major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center. His current condition has not been released.

Authorities reported that the driver of the Honda fled the scene shortly after the collision. 

CHP stated that investigators are searching for a white Honda Accord believed to have front-end damage. Surveillance video from a nearby business captured the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
