A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, on Monday evening, February 2, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at around 6:55 p.m. to the westbound San Bernardino Freeway west of Soto Street following reports of the incident.
Emergency personnel responded to provide medical assistance at the scene.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a hospital and was reported to be alert.
Fire officials said paramedics also evaluated the driver involved for possible injuries.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to investigate the incident, and traffic impacts were expected to continue for an undetermined period.
The incident remains under investigation.
