[02-01-2026] Riverside County, CA – Two Hospitalized After Solo Vehicle Crash in San Jacinto

Two people were transported to a hospital following a solo vehicle crash in San Jacinto on Sunday morning, February 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 6:00 a.m. near the intersection of Chabela Drive and Soboba Road. 

Responding officers found that the vehicle had left the roadway and entered a nearby riverbed.

Authorities stated that a reporting party indicated the vehicle lost control and rolled several times before coming to rest off the roadway. 

The driver and one passenger were rushed to a hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
