[01-16-2026] Fresno County, CA – Multi-Truck Crash Causes Delays on Hwy 43 Near Davis and Cairo Ave.

A crash involving multiple commercial trucks caused significant traffic disruptions along Highway 43 in Fresno County on Friday morning, January 16, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 9:25 a.m. near Davis Avenue and Cairo Avenue and involved four commercial trucks. 

Officials stated that properly worn seatbelts helped minimize injuries, though the mangled wreckage resulted in major delays in the area.

Drivers were urged to use alternative routes between Selma and Hanford while crews worked to clear debris from the roadway.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
