A woman sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by two vehicles in a hit-and-run incident in Menifee on Sunday evening, November 17, 2024.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. in the area of Ethanac and Sherman Roads.
Authorities reported that the pedestrian was walking on the shoulder of Ethanac Road when an SUV veered off the roadway and clipped her, causing her to spin into the opposite lanes. Before she could move, she was struck by a sedan.
Both drivers fled the scene without rendering aid.
Good Samaritans assisted the injured woman and called 911. Emergency responders transported her to a regional trauma center, where she was reported to be in stable condition on Monday.
Investigators have not determined whether alcohol or drugs contributed to the collision. No detailed vehicle descriptions were available.
