[03-24-2026] Riverside County, CA – Woman Killed, Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle While Bicycling in Banning

A woman was killed, and a man was seriously injured in a crash involving a vehicle and two bicyclists in Banning on Tuesday night, March 24, 2026.

According to the Banning Police Department, the crash was reported shortly before 9:00 p.m. in the 5300 block of West Ramsey Street. 

A 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 32-year-old man suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital, but was expected to survive.

The driver, whose name was not released, cooperated with investigators and was not injured. Police said the bicyclists may have been homeless.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the collision. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Banning Police Department’s Traffic Bureau at (951) 922-3170.
