One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle DUI crash in Victorville on Saturday evening, November 16, 2024.
According to the Victorville Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 8:47 p.m., at the intersection of La Mesa Road and Topaz Road.
Authorities stated that a 49-year-old man, identified as Alfredo P., was driving under the influence and fled the scene on foot after crashing into another vehicle.
The injured driver of the second vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment. Alfredo P., who was driving a 2005 Ford E350, was arrested nearby and booked at High Desert Detention Center for DUI-causing injury.
