Six people were injured and transported to local hospitals following a hit-and-run collision in Fallbrook, San Deigo County, on Friday evening, November 15, 2024.
The incident occurred at 6:55 p.m. near Clemmens and South Mission Road, where a white Hyundai sedan reportedly collided with another car and then continued driving, striking four more vehicles.
Witnesses at the scene indicated that a secondary collision occurred around 7:05 p.m., escalating the situation to involve five vehicles.
North County Fire Protection District personnel had to extricate at least one individual and six people were transported by three ambulances to nearby hospitals for treatment.
It remains unclear at this time what led to the initial head-on collision involving the Hyundai. Tow services were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene.
Multiple units from the California Highway Patrol and North County Fire Department responded to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
