A person was killed and another was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Mather, Sacramento County, on Thursday morning, November 14, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, emergency services were dispatched around 8:48 a.m. to the scene at the intersection of Excelsior Road and Kiefer Boulevard, where two vehicles were involved.
One of the vehicles caught fire, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other vehicle rolled over, and the driver sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
