At least four people, including children, were hospitalized after a sheriff’s deputy’s pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended in a crash in San Bernardino on Saturday evening, November 9, 2024.
The pursuit began at Base Line Street and Sterling Avenue and ended at the intersection of E and Base Line Streets when the suspect collided with an uninvolved vehicle, according to Gloria Huerta, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson.
The suspect’s silver Kia flipped onto its side against a wall, while a second vehicle sustained significant front-end damage.
Paramedics evaluated several individuals, including children, and transported them from the scene on gurneys.
