[10-29-2025] School Bus and Pickup Truck Collide in Del Paso Heights, Resulting in Multiple InjuriesA crash between a school bus and a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck in the 3900 block of Belden Street in Del Paso Heights, Sacramento, on Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2025, resulted in multiple injuries.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the collision occurred around 2:50 p.m. when the pickup truck crashed into the bus, after which the truck collided with a shed. 

After the crash, several people were seen climbing out of the truck bed and the vehicle itself. The California Highway Patrol stated that nine people were injured, including two on the school bus and seven in the truck. Six of the truck’s passengers, along with the driver, were juveniles.

The bus was carrying five special needs students from Grant Union High School at the time of the crash. The Twin Rivers School District confirmed that, as a precaution, one student and the bus driver were taken to the hospital, though no other students were injured. Another bus was dispatched to transport the remaining students home.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
