[10-24-2025] San Bernardino County, CA – Major Delays After Traffic Collision Involving Flatbed Trailer on Southbound I-15 Near Main Street in Hesperia

[10-24-2025] Major Delays After Traffic Collision Involving Flatbed Trailer on Southbound I-15 Near Main Street in HesperiaA traffic collision on the southbound I-15 freeway in Hesperia caused major delays, with traffic backing up for several miles into Victorville on Friday afternoon, October 24, 2025

The crash was reported at approximately 12:42 p.m. just south of Main Street and involved a burgundy Dodge Ram hauling a heavy-duty flatbed trailer and a blue Tesla sedan. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Tesla struck a K-rail before crashing into the trailer.

The impact caused the trailer, loaded with two forklifts, to overturn onto its side, blocking multiple lanes of traffic. The Tesla sustained damage to the passenger-side door, front quarter panel, and bumper. The crash left the Tesla disabled, while the Dodge Ram came to rest facing the wrong direction in the fast lane. No injuries were reported at the time of the collision.

A SIG Alert was issued at 2:15 p.m., closing the #1 and #2 lanes for approximately 45 minutes for vehicle recovery operations. The incident caused extensive delays, with traffic on southbound I-15 backed up to nearly Mojave Drive in Victorville.

Tow services from G&M Towing, including a Landoll trailer, assisted in clearing the scene.

The California Highway Patrol Victorville Station is investigating the cause of the crash.

Don’t Know What To Do After An Accident?

Your safety and rights depend on what you do next after an accident. Remember the following steps if you find yourself in one:

  • Check yourself for any injuries.
  • Stay on the scene, call 9-1-1, and wait for emergency responders.
  • Move your vehicle to the road shoulder if safe; turn on hazard lights.
  • Fully cooperate with law enforcement and stay until cleared to leave.
  • Document the scene and injuries with photos and videos.
  • Seek immediate medical attention.
  • Contact your insurance company and find a personal injury lawyer for legal advice.

What A Lawyer Can Do For You

Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
