[10-12-2026] Tehama County, CA – Injuries Reported After Rollover Crash South of Corning

Injuries were reported after a rollover crash south of Corning in Tehama County on Monday afternoon, October 12, 2026.

According to Caltrans District 2, all southbound lanes of Interstate 5 were blocked about six miles south of Corning after a pickup truck pulling a travel trailer rolled over.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, the crash was reported at about 1:59 p.m. near the Sourgrass Creek Bridge, south of Liberal Avenue.

CHP reported that occupants remained inside the vehicle and had injuries, though their conditions were not immediately available.

The crash involved a Dodge Ram 1500 towing a travel trailer. CHP said the trailer’s top had become dislodged from its frame, though the pickup and trailer were back on their wheels as of 2:18 p.m.

A heavy-duty tow truck was requested after Caltrans crews were unable to clear the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

Authorities said no detour was available, and motorists were advised to expect delays.
