An unidentified male pedestrian was struck by a van in Fallbrook, San Diego County on Thursday evening, August 22, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:55 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Mission Road in Fallbrook.
Authorities stated that the man did not appear to be using a pedestrian crosswalk at the time of the collision. Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the van remained at the scene and was questioned by CHP.
