[08-21-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Driver Injured in Crash Involving Two Big Rigs on I-10 in Claremont

A driver sustained injuries in a collision involving two big rigs on Interstate 10 in Claremont on Friday afternoon, August 21, 2026.

According to authorities, the crash was reported around 4:07 p.m. on the westbound I-10 Freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard.

Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one of the drivers from the cab of a big rig. The driver was placed on a stretcher and transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of the driver’s injuries was not immediately available.

The collision caused extensive damage to the cab of one of the trucks and prompted lane closures on the westbound freeway. At least two lanes were later reopened as crews worked at the scene.
