[08-20-2025] Three Hospitalized After Two Metro Buses Involved in Multi-Vehicle Crash on South Grand Avenue in Downtown LAThree people were hospitalized after a collision involving two Metro buses and another vehicle in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon, August 20, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters responded at about 4:17 p.m. to the 100 block of South Grand Avenue near First Street after reports of a Metro bus that veered onto a sidewalk.

Officials said a 52-year-old woman aboard the bus was injured and transported to a hospital in fair condition. Metro spokesperson Jose Ubaldo confirmed that three people were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, while an unknown number of other passengers reported minor injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
