[08-09-2026] Solano County, CA – Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash While Riding Scooter in Vacaville

A 57-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run crash while apparently riding a scooter in Vacaville on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

According to the Vacaville Police Department, the collision occurred on Alamo Drive, just south of Whitehall Way.

The man, identified by family members as Scotty G., was apparently traveling south on a scooter when he was struck by a vehicle.

The driver did not stop after the collision and fled the area on Alamo Drive. Additional information regarding the victim’s injuries or a description of the vehicle involved was not immediately available.

The Vacaville Police Department continues to investigate the hit-and-run crash.
