A male bicyclist was critically injured after crashing into a minivan in Old Town Victorville late Saturday night, August 9, 2025.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 11:29 p.m. at the intersection of D Street and Sixth Street.
Authorities said the bicyclist collided with a gray 2013 Honda Odyssey minivan occupied by an adult female and a small child. The van appeared to have most of the damage on the passenger side.
Victorville City Fire personnel initially requested a helicopter to airlift the bicyclist to a trauma center, but the request was later canceled. The patient was transported by ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center. No update on his condition was available.
The Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation.
