A woman was transported to the hospital following a crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV in Victorville, Thursday evening, August 7, 2025.
The collision occurred at approximately 5:49 p.m. at the intersection of Amargosa and Luna Roads.
Emergency crews from the Victorville City Fire Department responded to the scene, initially reporting a possible trapped occupant. Upon arrival, they confirmed no one was trapped in the vehicles.
The crash involved a silver GMC SUV and a black Freightliner tractor-trailer. The SUV sustained significant front-end damage and came to a stop in the intersection, while the semi-truck came to rest in a nearby commercial driveway with visible damage to its front end.
Debris from the crash was scattered across the roadway. Multiple agencies, including Victorville City Fire, AMR, and the Victorville Police Department, responded to the scene.
A woman was transported by ambulance for further medical evaluation, but the extent of her injuries is currently unknown. It is unclear if anyone else was injured.
The Victorville Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
