A 37-year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian collision in Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, on Wednesday night, August 6, 2025.
The crash occurred just before 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Prescott Avenue.
Authorities said that when deputies arrived, they found Carmen B., a resident of San Bernardino, unresponsive in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the crash does not appear to be criminal in nature.
The investigation remains ongoing.
