[06-25-2026] Fresno County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle at Blackstone Ave. and Olive Ave.

A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in central Fresno early Thursday morning, June 25, 2026.

According to Fresno police, the crash occurred just before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Blackstone Avenue and Olive Avenue. 

Authorities stated the vehicle was traveling southbound on Blackstone Avenue when it collided with the pedestrian.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Officials said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the incident. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
