[06-23-2026] Fresno County, CA – Two Seriously Injured in Fiery Crash Near Elkhorn and Fowler Ave.

Two people were seriously injured after a vehicle crash that resulted in a fire in Fresno County on Tuesday night, June 23, 2026.

According to authorities, the crash occurred around 8:40 p.m. near Elkhorn and Fowler avenues. 

The vehicle reportedly went off the roadway after negotiating a curve and struck a power pole, causing the vehicle to catch fire.

A bystander pulled both the driver and passenger from the wreckage before emergency crews arrived. Both victims were airlifted to local hospitals with major injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
