A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after crashing into a big rig on Highway 41 in Fresno on Monday morning, June 16, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred near O Street as a man riding a Harley Davidson was heading southbound and attempted to pass another vehicle. During the maneuver, the motorcycle collided with the rear of a big rig.
Emergency crews responded to find the rider down in the roadway. He was rushed to a local hospital with major injuries.
Initial investigations indicate the crash was likely caused by an unsafe lane change. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been factors.
The incident remains under investigation.
