A motorcyclist was killed, and two other people were injured in a crash involving a car and motorcycle in Kern County on Thursday night, June 12, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at 8:46 p.m. at the intersection of Ridgecrest Boulevard and Jacks Ranch Road.
Preliminary findings indicate a Toyota Corolla was heading south on Jacks Ranch Road and attempting a left turn onto Ridgecrest Boulevard when it was struck by the motorcycle.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The two occupants of the Corolla were transported by ambulance with complaints of pain, authorities said.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of the next of kin. The investigation is ongoing.
