[05-05-2026] Fresno County, CA – Moderate Injuries Reported in Crash at California and Brawley Ave.

Moderate injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash in Fresno County on Tuesday morning, May 5, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of California and Brawley avenues.

Authorities reported that an orange Dodge Challenger was traveling southbound while a white Jeep SUV was heading westbound through the intersection.

Investigators stated that the Jeep had the right of way when the Challenger allegedly failed to stop at a posted stop sign and struck the rear of the SUV. The impact caused the Jeep to overturn and come to rest on its side.

Officials said that moderate injuries were sustained in the crash, though no individuals were transported to a hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing.
