A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a pickup truck in central Fresno on Friday night, May 2, 2025.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash occurred at around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Maroa and Fedora avenues.
First responders found the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, in a nearby canal several minutes after the collision.
Authorities said the man was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The woman driving the pickup truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash and whether speed or alcohol was a contributing factor.
The incident remains under investigation.
