[05-01-2026] Fresno County, CA – Three Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash at Herndon and Brawley Ave.

Three people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash near Figarden Loop in northwestern Fresno on Friday afternoon, May 1, 2026.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision was reported around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Herndon and Brawley avenues.

Authorities stated that a Honda SUV traveling eastbound on Herndon Avenue allegedly entered the intersection against a red light and collided with a Jeep and a plumbing van traveling northbound on Brawley Avenue with a green light.

All three drivers involved in the crash were transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials reported that one of the drivers became trapped inside a vehicle and sustained moderate injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
