[03-02-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Severely Injured in Hit-And-Run Crash in North Hills

A pedestrian sustained severe injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the North Hills area of San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, on Monday evening, March 2, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 7:55 p.m. near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Nordhoff Street. 

Authorities said an older, dark-colored Toyota Camry was traveling east on Nordhoff Street when it struck a 39-year-old man who was walking inside a marked crosswalk. The driver fled the scene without stopping.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics rushed the critically injured pedestrian to a hospital for treatment.
