[02-23-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – 29-Year-Old Woman Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Lake Balboa

A 29-year-old pedestrian, identified as Daisy R., was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Lake Balboa, Los Angeles, on Monday morning, February 23, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at about 6:10 a.m. at Balboa Boulevard and Saticoy Street.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said. 

The incident remains under investigation.
